11/1/2008 Algiere Construction Services Inc, relocates to its new office space at 7704 San Jacinto Place, Suite 100, Plano, Texas 75024.
- 08/20/2009 Algiere Construction & Algiere Design and Purchasing Services announces the completion of the total renovation of the Holliday Inn Los Angeles International Airport Hotel. Project value $8M. Project duration 10 months including exterior building fascade replacement. Pictures available in the completed projects tab of the construction link.
- 09/16/2009 Algiere Construction Services Inc. has completed the first phase of the millwork installation for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Tower at the City Center project located in Las Vegas. Algiere has been awarded phase 2, which includes the millwork installation for all the condominium units in the upper tower. Coordination efforts to manufacture all cabinetry in Italy is included in Algiere's contract. The anticipated completion of this phase of the project is January of 2010.
- 09/01/2009 Algiere Design & Purchasing and Algiere Construction Services have been selected by McSam Hotels to completely renovate their JFK Airport Hilton in New York. The Property has a total of 360 rooms, multiple food and beverage areas, and 6,300 square feet of meeting space. The scope of work will also include an exterior face lift to update and enhance the façade of the building to a more welcoming and contemporary look. The scope of the remodel reaches up the twelve story guest tower where all 360 rooms will undergo a complete renovation. The newly enhanced guest rooms will offer all new luxury bathrooms with granite walk in showers as well as heavenly beds to ensure the utmost comfort. Also included in the update of the guestrooms will be a new state of the art electronics system to ease guests with transitioning from home. The complete remodel of all public spaces will include adding to and updating the already existing: pool, fitness room, bar/lounge, restaurant, and meeting rooms. The contemporary styling and warm color palettes layered with texture will welcome all to the new public spaces and enhance their overall experience as a guest. Algiere Construction Service will act as the GC for the project.
